In some regions, NEVs are not only passenger cars but also used widely for ride‑hailing, logistics, and urban public transportation.Export destinations have diversified. Traditional markets in Europe remain important because of high environmental awareness and mature automotive consumption habits. At the same time, markets in Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Africa are showing strong growth potential as incomes rise and demand for reliable yet affordable mobility increases. Exporters often adjust product configurations for different regions, taking into account climate conditions, road quality, local fuel prices, and policy environments.Nevertheless, the export of new energy vehicles faces several challenges. Trade barriers, changing certification standards, and geopolitical uncertainties can affect market access. Differences in charging standards and grid stability across countries complicate infrastructure compatibility. In addition, competition is intensifying, with manufacturers from various regions racing to capture market share through technology, branding, and localized services.To address these challenges, NEV exporters are increasingly investing in overseas research centers, assembly plants, and service networks. Cooperation with local distributors, energy providers, and financial institutions helps establish a more complete ecosystem around the vehicles. Over the long term, the continued upgrading of products, the reduction of lifecycle carbon emissions, and the development of sustainable battery recycling systems will be crucial for maintaining competitiveness in the global market for new energy vehicle exports.
